These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ApiForm PDF generation and form-fill API and related services (the "Service"), operated by [Legal Entity Name] ("ApiForm", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
ApiForm renders PDFs from templates and JSON data, makes flat PDFs fillable, and provides related generation, signing, and verification features via an HTTP API and dashboard. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity under them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate account information and be authorized to bind the organization you represent.
You retain all rights to the templates, data, and documents you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including rendering, storage of generated output, and metering). We do not sell Customer Content.
You agree not to: (a) submit content you lack the rights to use; (b) use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes; (c) attempt to access other customers' data or our internal systems; (d) probe, scan, or circumvent security or rate limits; (e) use rendered output to impersonate or defraud; or (f) submit URLs intended to reach internal, private, or metadata network endpoints. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
Paid plans include a monthly quota of rendered PDFs; usage beyond the quota is billed at the per-PDF overage rate published for your plan. Fees are charged through our payment processor. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing on prospective notice.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except as set out in a separate written SLA. We may perform maintenance and may throttle or suspend usage to protect the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ApiForm does not warrant that output is suitable for any particular legal, regulatory, or filing purpose; you are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApiForm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable period (see the Privacy Policy for retention).
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
